Data partners
Data are the bedrock of the Place Literacy Project. Our ambition is to develop a framework for built environment knowledge and engagement that grows out of broad participation and negotiation.
The most effective and efficient way to do this is by partnering with collective organisations from across the built environment sector and beyond, who are willing to share data from their pre-existing memberships and activities.
How is the data used?
We use data at every stage of our work: to inform our strategies, assess the evolving landscape of place literacy, monitor the impact of our initiatives, and advocate for evidence-based, equitable, and sustainable solutions.
This data - which may include membership demographics, interests, priorities, activities, or experiences - will:
offer valuable insights into the current state of place literacy;
help us monitor the progress and impact of the project over time;
and keep us accountable to our goals and objectives, ensuring that the project remains on the path to achieving its mission.
How can you help?
We are looking to partner with professional bodies, skill-based collectives, action-oriented communities, and other networks ready to contribute non-proprietary data from their membership to inform our work on an ongoing basis. Data partnership could include anything from sharing the raw data behind the organisation’s annual reporting, to co-designing input campaigns for mutually interesting data fields.
